Sustainability

Sustainability in artisanal and small-scale mining is practical before it is philosophical. It means sourcing from miners who are licensed, keeping operations within the standards our certification requires, and building a supply model that does not depend on exhausting a single site.

Certified operations

We are a registered company under the Ministry of Mines in Cameroon, and hold CEMAC territorial exploitation certification for eco-friendly operations. These are the approvals under which we operate; we do not claim standards we have not been assessed against.

Licensed sourcing

Our gold is purchased from licensed small gold miners (SGM). Global SGM supply is significant and supports a sustainable revenue generation model — for the miners as much as for us — because it does not rely on a single deposit or a single season.

Traceability

We follow a mandatory traceability plan covering procurement, storage, processing, packaging and shipping. Buyers who need to demonstrate the origin of their material to their own regulators or customers can follow the same chain we do.

Continuous improvement

Our quality tolerance spans the whole route from procurement to shipping, and we keep moving up the value chain rather than competing on volume alone. Where a buyer requires additional certification for a specific transaction, we arrange it as part of the process.
